Released on March 4, 2016, untitled unmastered. is a surprise compilation of eight untitled, unmastered demos recorded during the To Pimp a Butterfly sessions. Despite being labeled as demos, the tracks are extraordinarily accomplished.
The tracks are simply titled untitled 01 through untitled 08. Highlights include untitled 07 | 2014 - 2016 (an 8-minute epic) and untitled 02 | 06.23.2014. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 despite being unpromoted.
