Take Care (2011) — Drake
Widely considered Drake’s masterpiece — a Grammy-winning atmospheric R&B/rap fusion that defined an era.
Released on November 15, 2011, Take Care is widely regarded as Drake’s magnum opus. The album — produced heavily by longtime collaborator Noah “40” Shebib — established Toronto’s signature moody, atmospheric sound.
The album features Marvin’s Room, Headlines, The Motto (with Lil Wayne), HYFR, and Take Care (with Rihanna). It won the Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2013 and went diamond-certified.
Take Care is widely cited as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of the 2010s and inspired an entire generation of artists who blended rap with vulnerable R&B.
